Mangos

Originating in India, Mangos have been cultivated for thousands of years. Depending on variety, mangos come in many shades or combination of colours: from red to orange to yellow to green. When ripe, they show a yellow overtone and have a lovely fragrance.

Blueberries

Blueberries are not just native to North America, they’re native to British Columbia. So much so that BC is the second largest producer of blueberries in the entire world. These plump, round, dark blue berries are among the superest of the so-called super-fruits. Chock full of nutrients like vitamin C and E, they’re also low in calories.

Grapes

The Okanagan’s booming wine industry would indicate that the local climate is quite conducive to growing grapes. At BC Tree Fruits, we grow Coronation grapes. They’re a variety resembling Concord, without the seeds or the tartness. Coronations are great for eating fresh, but they can also be used in any recipe that calls for berries. Especially blueberries.
